Lynette Paglinawan has a master’s degree in social work, and was mentored by the legendary Mary Kawena Pukui in the practice of ho‘oponopono. Her husband, Richard, is also a social worker who helped recover the ancient Hawaiian martial art of “lua.” Both are on the faculty at the University of Hawaii Manoa.
