Benjamin Tamura, M.D. is a third generation Japanese-American who was born and raised in Hawai‘i. He has joined the Polynesian Voyaging Society on several journeys as the on-board physician, including the Hōkūle‘a famous sail from Hawai‘i to Rapa Nui (Easter Island).
