Young families volunteering as a first step towards getting regular work

A lot of our families are young families now that are on assistance, that need to go and find regular work. You know, I want to say a “real” job. They’re volunteering hours now to step before—it’s a step before learning how to actually get a job, maintain it, and be self sustaining for their family.
