Transcript: Earnest Siva

Before each Bighorn sheep hunt, the Serrano people would ceremoniously sing the Paa'chucham, a series of songs telling the ancient Serrano Bighorn sheep creation story.

[Siva:]
I will begin with the one of the songs that mentions the wind, because the wind is always important in our way, from the west we go, we follow the wind going into the foothills. [Singing in Native language] These songs repeat and go on, and there are actually dance songs as well.
