The hospital is a gathering place for Native people in Anchorage

Our hospital has become a gathering place where people come and they connect. That’s one place where we affect people who come in from the urban city. Also we have small programs within Anchorage where non-profit health corporations that are Alaska Native try to connect people within the system, and that’s what we do to try to catch them, and it’s youth, too, youth and adults.
