Contamination of water leading to illness

[Mesteth:]
We had good water, but now a lot of our water is contaminated because of housing situation. Septic tanks are put in that contaminate creeks and rivers. Plus, now we have kind of like a situation now where mining is taking place near our reservation, and it’s affecting our water resources. And a lot of pancreatic cancer is turning up. You know, there’s a lot of other types of cancer, too, and a lot of people are saying that it’s coming from the water.
