The Polynesian Voyaging Society’s mission is educational. And it’s youth education. One of the founders of the Voyaging Society, Pinky Thompson, that was his passion—was youth, early childhood education. It also spreads out into youth leadership programs as well as adult and community education, but it’s primarily youth, school.
