Land that was once beautiful is today without buffalo and fresh water

[Crow Dog:]: We live where my grandpa Chief Crow Dog had settled, it was real nice. Piney folks, folks of the pine order. That’s right there. Real nice, beautiful. But today when you look down on the earth, today it’s all no more, no more buffalos, no more fresh water for the dream, and for the water for the deer.
