Diabetes and related education programs for tribal workers

Our department, community health, and several of our other departments at the health center are working with our diabetes patients. We’ve come up with diabetes wellness day, and we have that in conjunction with our retinopathy clinic. We do services on that particular day, lab work, an exam by the foot— the podiatrist, also, immunizations, education—diabetes education, nutrition education, exercise education, and we do a lot of intervention screening.
