Resistance to taking medicine contributes to non-compliance

- Getting people to follow medication regimens is an enormous problem for us. Because if you have to take, you know, this prescription three times a day for ten days, you know, an antibiotic or something like that, after two or three days they feel better, they stop taking the medication, they end up with—
- [Lindberg:]
- Oh, yeah, absolutely, and kids in particular are notorious about that.
- [Forquera:]
- Yeah, so getting those kinds of points across to people and getting them, teaching them how to do that, is just a real challenge for us. It’s a challenge for the general medical community as a whole, I think, but we see it a lot in our population because people are resistant to taking medications anyway.
