Helpfulness and effectiveness of the Indian Health Service and its contract procedures

[Lindberg:]
I wonder if you wouldn’t first tell us a little bit about your own contacts with health and doctoring. Has that ever done any good for you?
[Hena:]
Yes, in recent years the Indian Health Service has been a lot more helpful, more effective in the procedures that they use. For instance, earlier today I spoke about having my aortic valve replaced. We went through that exercise. They explained the whole idea of getting a man-made valve put in, and they assured me that that valve would last me for the rest of my life. Of course, they didn’t tell me how long I was going to live.
[Lindberg:]
You didn’t tell them you were going to be 100, though.
[Hena:]
Right.
