About Kazuma Nakagawa
As a neurointensivist, Dr. Nakagawa's clinical experience is caring for patients who are critically ill as a result of severe brain injuries such as ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and traumatic brain injury. He is conducting a prospective cohort study of hemorrhagic stroke patients who are hospitalized at The Queen's Medical Center to assess racial disparities in risk factors, stroke etiologies, aggressiveness of patient care, and long-term outcomes among Native hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders.
